The story takes place in Dublin in the 1980s, when Connor (Fodia Walsh-Ferdia Walsh-Peelo), a 14-year-old, had to transfer to a rigid church school because of family difficulties. There, he gets caught up in the overbearing Barry (Ian Kenny) and sees that the days ahead will not be easy. 　　One day, Connor meets a beautiful girl named Rafina (Lucy Bolton Lucy Boynton), in order to attract Rafina's attention, Connor invited her to star in her own band's MV, who knew Rafina readily agreed, then the question came, to play music almost know nothing about Connor, how to form a band in a short period of time? Fortunately, Connor had a group of music-loving friends, and soon a band called "Singing Street" was formed.
